Purification Functions of a River
- Take the worksheet “Purification Functions in a River” and discuss different purification functions of a river.
- Draw a picture or make a collage painting that will give an impression about the importance of the riparian zone for all living beings. Create cross-sections of the river with the specific substrate and living organisms and try to imagine the functions that are performed in different parts of a section. Have a discussion about your findings.
